Multiplayer Asteroids: The Story
I'm Kami Kaze, 3rd Rank User from the Regen Race in the world of MAST. Because of a recent pirate ambush upon my colony ship, I've been known to be the last of my kind. I might come up to be a bit lonely, but life's been good since the Noba Officers have taken me into their care.
Let me fill you in though. The colony ship i lived on, wasn't just any type of carrier/transportation ship. We held in our possession the first batch of I.C.U.P's ever since the Discovery of Heath. (ICUP = Indestructible Crafts for Unique Pilots) Pirates boarded onto our ship and killed all who tried to evacuate. Luckily, I was boarded onto one of the last ICUP's at the time and fled away safely. I sent a signal for help and the Noba Officers responded. They caught the thiefs, and in respect for catching wanted criminals, I was rewarded with enough cash to have my own home.
So.... Yeah.. Sad story, but can't dwell in the past too much, right? Anyways, you might be wondering what ICUP's actually are. They were basically ships made of large amounts of Heath. Heath is a bright red dust particle that attracts itself onto other particles of Heath. With advanced technology, scientists have been able tp make the attraction of Heath follow the blueprint of a fightership, mining ship, or any type of single-flying unit ship so that it could build or repair itself in MAST. Pretty smart huh? Another cool thing about ICUP's is that the User piloting them could control the ship and all of it's functions with just a thought. Sooo.... The smarter you were and the more experience you had in flight determined how good you are when controlling it compared to others. However, these designs were naturally made to protect a guy while venturing in the dangerous world of MAST, but many have been misusing it as weapons for war.
Lots of Users, (Users = The only people who pilot a ICUP ship), have different sorts of flight styles and abilities that help them in their journey to gather Heath in MAST or steal it from others. Go ahead and call us Users as freaks or mutants if you want, but in the end, you'll be begging for our help when the time comes for it. Users are a low population of people with superpowers! We all have the common ability to communicate with machines/computers and additional abilities that add on.
My User ability is being able to regenerate my ship at a fast rate, and rebuild it into any form of spaceship I want. It's cool, but not as cool as the others which is why I'm ranked 3rd under 1st and 2nd Users.
This one guy! Which.. I hope to get a chance to meet soon has like.... a thousand collections of Heath in his record, and is ranked 1st in the User category. I hear he's got crazy speed, flies like a maniac, and carries the most powerful laser cannon ever.
But he doesn't fly alone, he's always got these two mysterious chicks with him. One who can shade herself in and out of a person's radar, and another who completely interrups the image of your radar so you can't see her ship, just her missles. I've heard they got more tricks up their sleeves and all, but I wouldn't be able to stand a chance against either one of them.
Oh yeah.. and radars.... They are the biggest, most important, thing to have in MAST. Without one, you'd DIE! Lol, seriously... It's pitch-black near the ends of the universe. Even if you saw a ship in front of you, you'd be lost if it flew away somewhere else because it'd be so hard to follow. So, that's why all Users rely on their radars. We fly by it, with it, and if we don't have it, we're dead
But yeah... To the real point about me... I've just been babbling about all my interests and stuff about our new world.. but really... the this world would be nothing without Heath. Clumps of red dust, that if you sell in a good cargo batch to any Noba frigate, you get LOADS of money in return. It also improves your rank in the User category list. Pride, wealth, and skill is the most important thing we all hold onto out here in the big black. And what can I say about it all? It's fun!

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- My Mission
Fly around and collect as much Heath to keep my ship in good shape and take out all else who stand in my way. No more mining asteroids for cash, it's all about Red Gold, Heath.
Tips
Use your radar! - There's no star in the ends of the universe to tell you where you are, so use your radar and manuever the best you can with it. Use Wormholes! - When two or more large amounts of Heath come together, a weird thing happens and wormholes appear around the two. Use the wormholes to hit your opponent from the side, but be careful because your opponent might be using them too! Bait Minerals! - Everyone is out to collect the dust clumps of energy, metal, and Heath out in MAST, and they'd be willing to do almost anything to get it. Use wormholes, or just camp yourself and use them as bait to let your opponent fall right in your grasp. Strike with fierce! - Rebuilding the blueprint of a craft doesn't take long at all. You might destroy your opponent once, but he can come back and take you when you least expect it. Hit the enemy nice and hard, and be ready to take him on again. The key is to beat him so bad, he'll run and quit, giving you access to all the Heath your cargo can fill.
Moves
Turret Fire - Sometimes it's just better to fly backwards than it is to go forwards. If you're good, you will have better and control, and if a ship tries to follow you, you can shoot back at it to save your tail Side-weave - To hit multiple units, it might be best to just let your ship fly in one direction, turn to the side and rain fire on all your opponents. However, your opponent may turn around from a wormhole and get you from the side. This is where side-weaving comes into play. Weave through the bullets your opponent fires at you and find a way to hit him from the side ofjust to try and throw massive amount of bullets in one direction to keep them from trailing you. Firewall - Fire your bullets in one direction, each bullet tracing the other, creating a wall of fire. Opponents are bound to fall into this trap if they aren't quick enough, and it's a good way to keep an opponent from going somewhere you don't want them to go. Bombard - This is nothing more than using wormholes and side-fire to your advantage. Fly vertical into a wormhole, making sure your backward thrusting, and fire bullets on the left or right side of your while going through wormholes. While backing, bullets should fly past your ship (if done right), and hit the opponent following you. This is sort of like firewall, but your using the walls to your advantage. 1/4 Fire - You can cover just about a quarter of your screen with bullets in just one quick turn, if done right. Once again, back-thrust verticall in an undefined slope and repeat fire. Just as you go through a wormhole, turn inside the screen, either left or right, and you would have covered 1/4 of the screen with bullets. If you turn earlier, you would have covered 1/2 of the screen within a mere second. Parallel Shooting - Like 1/4 fire, Parallel Shooting requires the same type of movement but without using the wormhole. Go vertical and back-thrust into an imaginary horizontal lane. The result of this type of movement will fire several bullets randomly in over 1/2 the screen. Other people call it, spinning and circles. But, pro's do it all the time as a way to switch directions and hit a person from the side. (... or wormhole)
