hace mucho tiempo | Publicación #2 We do in fact not use the package, you could develop with the tools from osflash.org if you felt like it.

hace mucho tiempo | Publicación #3 Hmm strange, since my compilation failed on the fact it could not find that package initially. This while i was not using it myself. :-S
I'll try again without it later on, thank you for the feedback allready.

hace mucho tiempo | Publicación #4 I have tried again & now it works fine without the fl.
I have no clue why i had the problem before. Must be related to the fact i was starting new with this actionscript language and set-up...
Again thanks. :-)

PS: I would love to develop some complex games using the API. But can't do it alone. I would love to join some team

hace mucho tiempo | Publicación #7 I did use eclipse like you say.
Here the 'hello world' example i used as basis:
http://www.aaronspjut.com/mind/index.php/2006/07/01/actionscript-3-hello-world-using-eclipse-on-os-x/
But note in this set-up it does not even have syntax highlighting or any other of the goodies that eclipse provides for developing java code.
By now i have installed http://osflash.org/flashdevelop which is rather self explanatory.

hace mucho tiempo | Publicación #1I have just created an account here and already put a trial version on this site of a small 2 player game i have created in the past few days.
First of all i like the set-up here. It is quite clear and usefull.
On to my question,
You say "when the trial ends you will have to buy a version of Adobe Flash to continue to develop flash games" on the 'getting started' page.
In my view, this is only because you are using the 'fl' package from adobe.
The question is, how heavilly are you using that package. Because if it would be only for a few buttons, i would find it quite pricy to have to pay some hundreds of dollars for that.
